É noite... e os gatos estão à espreita!

Resgatamos, neste ‘post’, um poema do filósofo alemão Nietzsche, extraído de seus “Fragmentos do Espólio”. Retrata ele o comportamento noturno dos gatos, que furtivamente sobem aos telhados para dar vazão às suas lascivas paixões. Rechonchudos como os monges libidinosos, compara Nietzsche, a sublinhar a sua mais do que conhecida aversão às religiões.

Nacht ist’s

Nacht ist’s: wieder über den Dächern

wandelt des Mondes feistes Antlitz.

Er, der eifersüchtigste aller Kater,

Allen Liebenden blickt er eifersüchtig

Dieser blasse fette “Mann im Monde”.

Lüstern schleicht er um alle dunklen Ecken,

Lehnt breit sich in halbverschlossene Fenster,

Einem lüsternen, fetten Mönche gleich, geht

Frech er nachts auf verbotnen Wegen.

É noite: novamente sobre os telhados

Vagueia a face redonda da lua.

Ele, o mais ciumento de todos gatos,

Olha com ciúmes para todos os amantes,

Esse pálido e gorducho “homem da lua”.

Esgueira-se lascivo pelos cantos mais escuros,

Recosta-se folgadamente a janelas meio abertas.

Como um libidinoso e rechonchudo monge, ele anda

Insolente de noite, por caminhos proibidos.
